UNC Health Nash Women’s Center has been honored as one of the top maternity care providers in North Carolina, earning the prestigious "High Performing" designation from U.S. News & World Report. This distinction, the highest award a hospital can receive in maternity care, underscores the center’s dedication to excellence in labor and delivery services.

The annual Best Hospitals for Maternity Care study evaluates key performance indicators such as rates of severe newborn complications, adherence to evidence-based birthing practices, and exclusive breast milk feeding rates. UNC Health Nash’s commitment to these high standards has placed it among the top five UNC Health hospitals recognized for outstanding maternity care in the state.

Additionally, the hospital received the Maternity Care Access designation, highlighting its critical role in providing high-quality labor and delivery services in a region that might otherwise lack sufficient maternity care.
