Students who live in Edgecombe County and attend Nash County Public Schools will begin attending schools in Edgecombe County this fall. Parents of rising 10th-12th graders will have an opt-in choice to remain at the current schools, but K-8th graders will be attending new schools.

Edgecombe County Public Schools will have an informational meeting on Monday, February 19 at 1060 Pinehurst Drive in Rocky Mount at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Chew & Chat session at 6 p.m., which will give a chance to ask questions 1 on 1.

Faith Christian School is a private, non-denominational PreK-12th grade Christian school founded in 1993. It is accredited through AdvancEd and the Association of Christian Schools International. New Life Christian Academy is a private Christian school in Rocky Mount that provides education for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School is a Catholic school in the Diocese of Raleigh and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It was established in 1939.
