On Saturday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Down East Partnership for Children (DEPC) invites you to NC Wesleyan’s campus for a special Family Fun Day. This free event will feature hands-on activities, demonstrations, giveaways, bouncy houses, food, and so much more. There’s something for everyone, and transportation is available for families who pre-register.

The DEPC has been a cornerstone of support for families and children in the Twin Counties since its establishment in 1993. As a non-profit organization based in Rocky Mount, the DEPC is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to become a healthy, lifelong learner by the end of the third grade.

The DEPC’s vision centers around the belief that today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders, parents, and workers. By focusing on building strong communities, improving access to early care and education, and providing resources that help families thrive, the DEPC works alongside families to ensure that every child has the foundation they need to succeed.

Family Fun Day is a reflection of this commitment, offering a space where families can come together to enjoy interactive activities and connect with community resources in a supportive, fun environment.
