Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Back to School Bash

Kick off the school year with a blast at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on August 12 from 3 PM to 7 PM. The Back to School Bash promises an afternoon of fun and delicious treats. Families can enjoy Freddy’s famous frozen custard and steakburgers while participating in games and activities. It’s a perfect way to get into the back-to-school spirit.

Nash County Public Schools Back to School Festival

Welcome back to a bright new school year with Nash County Public Schools at their Back to School Festival. Scheduled for August 15, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Nash Community College’s Brown Auditorium, this event is packed with exciting activities:

- Free slushies for the first 300 attendees

- Games and door prizes

- A petting zoo

- Education support services

- Food vendors and local community agencies

All 24 schools in the district will be represented. Attendees will have the chance to meet the superintendent and representatives from East Carolina University, Barton College, Nash Community College, and North Carolina Wesleyan University. These representatives will offer valuable information for rising seniors and their guardians about furthering their education.

Nevaeh's Care Services Back to School Giveaway Event

Join Nevaeh's Care Services for a day of fun and preparation for the upcoming school year. This event, held at 302 NW Railroad St in Whitakers, will feature free food, music, backpacks, school supplies, personal items, a bounce house, games, and activities for children of all ages. Greater Joy Youth Ministry Church Back to School Pizza & Skate

On August 1, from 6 PM to 9 PM, the Greater Joy Youth Ministry Church is hosting a Back to School Pizza & Skate event at Star City Skate & Play.
