Downtown Rocky Mount is set to host an unforgettable evening of laughter, gourmet dining, and live music at the Downtown Date Night Experience featuring The Christi Show-Ms. Shirleen on Friday, July 19. With over 1.5 million followers on Facebook and over 1.1 million Instagram followers, Christianee Porter, also known as The Christi Show, has taken the social media comedy world by storm.

Christianee Porter, a proud native of Little Rock, Arkansas, and now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, is a multi-talented entertainer who acts, sings, raps, and dances. Her journey from a pre-school teacher to a viral sensation and accomplished comedian is nothing short of inspirational. In 2016, her online videos as Ms. Shirleen captured the hearts of many, propelling her to national fame and leading to performances across the country. With appearances in Tyler Perry’s "Madea’s Family Funeral," Fox’s "Right This Minute," TV One’s "Sister Circle," and BET Digital, Porter has firmly established herself in the comedy scene.

Guests are invited to dress their best for this upscale date night, which will feature a gourmet buffet prepared by guest chef Malik Williams, owner of Thorns & Ivory. The dinner will offer delicious options to delight the taste buds, and each ticket includes one glass of champagne. Based out of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, NiiTO recently performed at the Durham Performing Arts Center with the legendary Kem.
