An Evening Under the Stars with The North Carolina Symphony

The annual performance of the North Carolina Symphony in Tarboro, North Carolina is a beloved tradition that has been cherished by the community for more than four decades. For over 40 years, the North Carolina Symphony has graced Tarboro with its exceptional performances, creating a legacy of musical excellence and cultural celebration. This year's event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 18th at 7:30 pm on the picturesque Tarboro Town Common. Tarboro is just one stop among the more than 300 concerts the North Carolina Symphony performs each year. Currently conducted by Michelle Di Russo, the symphony is composed of various sections, including strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. The ensemble features instruments such as violins, violas, cellos, double basses, flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, trumpets, horns, trombones, tubas, and a diverse array of percussion instruments.
